Innovate to Net Zero
In our first podcast in this new series we introduce the essential role Scottish innovation and technology has in tackling the climate emergency and supporting the transition to net zero. We are joined by guests Ragne Low, Head of Heat Planning and Delivery at the Scottish Government, and Professor Keith Bell, ScottishPower Chair in Smart Grids at the University of Strathclyde and a member of the Committee on Climate Change. Together we unpack the themes of the four episodes we have lined up in this fascinating series – from innovations that are supporting the energy transition at the national scale to enhancing sustainability and building climate resilience at the local scale. Our guests discuss the vital role innovation will play in supporting a just and equitable transition to net zero.
